Reminiscing

Talk with an agent that asks questions to help Poly Mind understand you better.

Reminisce mode is an interactive chat with an agent that asks you questions to grow its understanding of you. It helps you put words to the context your files might not capture: what mattered about an event, how a project came about, or why you made a particular choice. You can also use to ask the agent to update memories, or even just to ask questions about yourself.

Open Mind and then open the panel to the "Memories" tab to start a conversation.

Let questions guide you

You do not need a finished story or a topic planned in advance. The agent asks questions, and your answers help build a fuller picture of your life. You can give a short answer or spend more time on something you want to explore.

For example, a conversation about a trip might explore what you enjoyed most, who you travelled with, or which place you would like to visit again. A conversation about a project might help you recall what you hoped to accomplish and what changed along the way.

Add the context only you know

Files can preserve a moment without explaining what it meant to you. Reminiscing gives you a way to add that personal context through conversation.

Use it to:

  • Recall the people, places, and small details behind your photos.
  • Reflect on a project and the decisions that shaped it.
  • Talk through interests, preferences, or ideas you want to remember.
  • Revisit an experience and explain why it was meaningful.

That context helps make your Mind more useful when you or your agent return to a related question later.

Keep your memories your own

Share the details you want to remember. You can review, edit, or delete your memories in the Mind page.
