Keyboard Shortcuts

Every keyboard shortcut in Poly for navigation, panels, selection, search, and desktop actions.

Poly is built to be driven from the keyboard. means the Command key on macOS and Ctrl on Windows and Linux, everywhere below.

Search, agent & panels

EscDismiss — closes search, previews, menus, and clears focus

View modes

⌘ 1 through ⌘ 8 switch the current folder's view mode, in menu order:

Also: ⌘ = / ⌘ − grow or shrink preview thumbnails, and ⌘ ⌥ R resets the folder's view settings to your default.

Selecting & acting on files

Undo and redo apply to file-system actions — renames, moves, archives — with full version history behind them for anything further back.

Preview & Flashback

Desktop app

The desktop app adds native menu shortcuts on top of everything above:
