Connect Gemini CLI and other Google AI tools to Poly.
Gemini CLI installs Poly as an extension in one command; other Gemini surfaces that speak MCP can use Poly's hosted server directly.

The extension comes from the polymcp repo and gives Gemini the same integration Claude gets: the poly-cli skill plus the MCP connection to search, read, and organize your files.
If you have the Poly desktop app with CLI tools installed, the extension works against your local cache — fast and offline-capable. Otherwise it uses the hosted MCP server and signs you in with OAuth.

The server uses streamable HTTP and OAuth.
