Embedded agent V2
Estinated: Aug. 2026
The embedded agent currently runs an out-of-date harness that's not flexible and expressive enough for modern agents. We're building one that greatly speeds up time to first token, reduces cache misses, and improves token use for large documents. It will also support updated tools, memory, and subagents for research tasks.
Direct Import from Cloud Storage Providers
Estimated: Sept. 2026
A one-click import connector that lets you choose which files to import from a different cloud service. Runs in a durable, fault-tolerant, network tolerant way in order to make importing extremely fast and reliable.
Windows Desktop App
Estimated: Oct. 2026
Native cloud sync integration for Windows Explorer, similar to how Poly appears in macOS Finder. Files will appear in Explorer and download on demand when you open them. Same fast, offline-first experience as the macOS app, with full support for Shared Drives and cloud storage.

Smart collections
Dynamic folders that automatically take action for you based on triggers you define.
Activity feed and notifications
A feed of changes across your storage and Shared Drives, with configurable notifications for when teammates add, edit, or share files.
Web clipper browser extension
A browser extension for saving web content (articles, images, pages) directly to Poly from any website.
iOS Files app integration
Poly will appear as a storage location in the iOS Files app, so you can access your files from any app that supports the Files picker.
