What kind of file is .ogex?

OpenGEX is text-based scene exchange built on Open Data Description Language. Its official site describes node hierarchies, instancing, geometry, lights, cameras, materials, skinned and morphed meshes, and keyframe animation.1

How do I open a .ogex file?

3ds Max with OpenGEX exporter is the most reliable first choice. Other tools may import a subset of the geometry or scene constructs. Conversion to glTF or OBJ can improve interchange, but may discard materials, animation, application state, or scene relationships.
