Commands

mkdrive

Create a shared drive in Poly.

poly mkdrive creates a new shared drive. Every shared drive gets its own home and archive folder, just like your personal drive.

Usage

poly mkdrive <NAME>

A handle for the drive's /shared/<handle> link is generated randomly. See Shared Drives for how drives and membership work.

Personal roots (//Home, //Archive, //Mind, and //Agent) do not support drive membership. Share a folder inside them, or choose a shared drive from poly ls //.

poly drive history //Home shows changes within Home. The other personal roots support history independently. For a shared drive, poly drive history @handle includes both its home and archive.

  • rmdrive — permanently delete a shared drive.
  • Shared Drives — how membership, roles, and archives work.
  • mkdir — create a regular folder inside a drive.
