# Sharing

> Share individual files with a link, or give a team its own storage space.

Poly has two ways to give other people access to your files, and they solve different problems.

## Which one do I want?

**Share a file or folder** when the content belongs to you and you want specific people — or anyone with a link — to see it. You stay the owner, and you can revoke access at any time.

**Create a Shared Drive** when the content belongs to a team rather than to a person. A Shared Drive is its own storage space with its own members, roles, and archive, so files don't disappear when someone leaves.
